You also need an idea of how long it may take for you to get your certification, but in general, it should be between 3–12 months. The process of becoming a professional hacker is a rigorous one and it takes years to become one.

A fresher can pursue a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, it will take up to 4-5 years to complete the degree.

If you are a little more enthusiastic about the field you can go for a Master’s in cybersecurity which takes up to 2 years to complete the course.

But if you want to research in the field of cybersecurity, then you can take up Ph.D. studies from reputed universities in the United States. This will take up to 6 years to get a doctor’s degree.

You can also go to cybersecurity bootcamps to get the latest technologies and also the opportunity to meet cyber experts.

If you want to become an expert in this field, then two main things will require your attention.
